An exciting new partnership between BrainFx and NeuroCatch (NCI)!

NeuroCatch Inc. (NCI) in Surrey, British Columbia and BrainFx in Pickering, Ontario will be working together to share their initiatives, best practices, and collaborate in the areas of brain health and technology innovation, entrepreneurship, mutual promotion and much more. NeuroCatch Inc., a subsidiary of HealthTech Connex Inc., has embarked on a new journey with the great team at BrainFx.

“This partnership will provide the opportunity for improved brain health and brain performance to our community as a whole,” says Dr. Ryan D’Arcy, President and Chief Scientific Officer of HealthTech Connex Inc. “These unique technologies are powerful in and of themselves. Used in combination, BrainFx and NeuroCatch® will deliver care providers rapid, objective and quantifiable insight into brain function while defining targeted areas of focus for both recovery and improvement. Clients and patients of care providers will be able to understand how their brain is doing today, much like we do cardiovascular health with blood pressure readings, as well as understand ways in which to improve or recover. We are striving to positively impact a billion brains. This partnership is a great step in that journey.”

The partnership enables both groups to grow and inspire neuro-focused health innovation activities and initiatives, focusing on positively impacting as many brains in the world as possible.

“We are very excited about the opportunities within a NeuroCatch® and BrainFx partnership. Individually, each technology delivers unique insights to healthcare providers to assist in decision-making and care planning,” says Tracy Milner, CEO of BrainFx. “Side-by-side, they deliver complementary and comprehensive insights to healthcare providers that can help promote better health outcomes for patients. What is the most exciting to us is how powerful the insights from NeuroCatch® and BrainFx will be in combination. We are looking forward to making a deeper connection between what is happening in the brain through NeuroCatch® and linking that to the functional cognitive performance and outcomes through BrainFx. Together, we can assist in better understanding both the ‘What is it?’ as well as the ‘What next?’.”

About BrainFx

BrainFx is a neuro-health technology company that delivers clinical, digital assessments of neurofunction to detect what other tests can miss. The assessments are powered by a dynamic normative database, called the Living Brain Bank™, that delivers unique insights to healthcare providers that connect to real-world function to help develop highly targeted treatment plans to promote improved health outcomes.

Healthcare professionals can build a comprehensive profile of a person’s neurofunction which includes cognition, mood, behaviour, sleep, nutrition, activities of daily life, quality of life, and more.

BrainFx offers a suite of three assessments:

  • BrainFx SCREEN – rapid screening, 10-15 minutes
  • BrainFx 360 – comprehensive, multi-sensory, 90-minutes
  • BrainFx Virtual Cognitive Assessment – virtual/contactless, 30-minutes

Automated scoring and reporting lets providers quickly analyze data-driven results and compare a person’s unique profile to customizable normative cohorts. The post-assessment process is also simplified with BrainFx’s clinical support resources that assist in interpretation, targeted treatment planning and report writing.
